CLASSIC AND ACOUSTIC ROCK BAND
The five musicians comprising the Stay Tuned Band met at various stages throughout the last several years. John, our rhythm guitarist, Jay, our bass player, and Diane, our lead vocalist, have been performing Contemporary Christian music together in the St. Thomas Passion Play in Southington, for over a decade. In 2016, we collaborated with Fran, our drummer, in a Contemporary Christian group in West Hartford. The following year, at one of our rehearsals, it was Fran who suggested we form our own band, and, without hesitation, we took the plunge and never looked back! By August of 2018, we were performing our first of many gigs and in 2019, Ken completed the group when he joined Stay Tuned as our lead guitarist. In November of 2020, we wrapped up our first studio recording at Pharoah Studios in Plainville, which included two original songs, Looking Through the Window, and Back in the Day. In 2021 and 2022, the band continued to add songs to its repertoire and played at several large corporate events for Covenant Prep and Liberty Bank
This acoustic and classic rock band enjoys an active following when performing at various breweries, restaurants, and establishments throughout Connecticut. In addition, we have enjoyed the spotlight at events including corporate golf tournaments, Foxwoods Casino, Dillon Stadium, the 100th Durham Fair, and, as the opening act for the Goshen Stampede.
